After words...

It is a rare moment in history where one can witness the manifestation of sheer joy and happiness by so many marked by so much diversity of populace. Those of us who are less than exuberant can at least appreciate the phenomenon. In my opinion, those who cannot appreciate this moment will never appreciate any moment.
Senator Obama steps into the biggest pile of muck ever to greet a new President in my lifetime. Let him enjoy the red carpet while it is there. Let him be swayed by his own rhetoric and let him endeavor to live up to those soaring words. Let him lose his pettiness and his arrogance. The burden this young man now carries on those thin shoulders is staggering. It is up to each of us to decide whether to push, pull, shove or lift him. History is waiting, and watching.
